46 minutes in and I was already creeped out how flawless their family's plan was. And it wasn't bad. On the contrary, not at all. Watching trailer after watching the whole movie. The score of this movie was so good. No one gon talk bout how the boy just stole his friends girl 😔✋🏻.
0:57 peach is stolen. One of the best films I've ever seen. The flood scene was breathtaking. Had no idea what to expect. Completely blown away. The Beauty of Parasite plays whole film. I just watched this with my family it was amazing. Definitely deserved the academy award. Gisaengchung movie free. What an ending, I could feel the Kim father's anger. I've read that no adult gets the morse code from the actual maid's husband actually means that lower class' mesaages never reaches to the upper and even if it does, the upper doesnt seem to understand. but the boy gets it and it reflects that the director have faith in newer generations.
This movie is a masterpiece, and people cant even put it in a certain category, cuz no category can describe it clearly. even the director called it a dark comedy. guess its gonna stuck in my head for a long long time. Best dialogue in this movie is, can you do clockwise. HAHAHAHAHAHA @ the fact that you didn't include the scene where Jessica blew on the peach. I got so nervous every time he turns his head to the backseat lol. This is why this movie won so many awards this year! Masterpiece. The fact that the old maid ringing the door bell happens exactly halfway through the movie is honestly brilliant. everything in this movie is so precisely laid out, this is genius film making.
I can't tell whether it's supposed to be a horror, thriller, crime caper, romance, or porno.
I thought this was a live-action take of Koreans on Parasyte
I'm Korean and one of the details most foreigners(and even Koreans) miss to mention is that those families were never like that poor/rich all the way through their life! The rich family's dad is introduced in several details as he started from the bottom - and became an icon for it(The term Ja-Su-Seong-Ga is mentioned repeatedly+His company is an IT/Tech sort of company which makes it more believable. In the poor family's house, you can see several items/details where they were far more wealthier before(not super rich, but just better off in general) just that the poor family's father had a failed business that lead this family into this poverty. Thoses family members aren't incompetant at all. Dad has several great skillsets, mom was a national level athlete, sister is good at art, and the son is educated enough to teach the rich sub-poor couple's husband even owned his own small business back in the day. You act like you were born with the class, in reality, you're just stationed into a system. Capital hierarchy blinds you into believing the wealthy deserves of their own class while the poor believes the same, respectiong and admiring the upperclass. loads of casualty without any villans.
A must see if you are tired of endless Hollywood sequels and super hero movies. A can't miss if you are into Quentin Tarantino type of movies (although, without a heroic central character. This is a very entertaining story that's beautifully shot and told with many twist and turns, at a nice and tight pace, from start to finish. OSCARS Best Picture, Best International Feature and Best films rock... All the people outraged over this winning best picture clearly haven't seen the film and it shows. Hollywood remaking this is a TERRIBLE idea. Remember how they made a garbage version of Oldboy.
